UC San Diego is not responsible for how you use the information found on the Willo App. Use of this app is not a substitute for medical advice from your health care provider.

Confidentiality

UC San Diego will not purposely disclose any information about you without your permission, unless required by law. You are responsible for remembering and keeping your login credentials secure.

Accuracy of Information

We will do our best to keep the information found on the app up to date. However, if you encounter any inaccurate or outdated information, please let us know so that it can be corrected.

Content from External Sources

UC San Diego does not have control of the information found on other websites you may access through the Willo App. Please use caution when accessing external sites.

UC San Diego (“UCSD”) is pleased to offer Willo, a wellness app for UCSD students. Use of Willo and related services is subject to the Terms and Conditions (Terms) set forth below. Please read the following information carefully. By accepting below, you understand and agree to be bound by the Terms . If you do not agree to be bound by the Terms, promptly exit this app and delete it from your device.

Your privacy is important to us. UC San Diego will use your information to connect you with resources and services available to students at UCSD. For more information about how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process your personal information, please review our Privacy Policy[LJ1] .

A. Use of Willo

This app is intended to promote physical activity, social connection, and general health and wellness by connecting students with UCSD resources that they may benefit from. This app is for informational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice or medical services, or for diagnostic or treatment purposes. Consult your health care provider if you have questions about your health.

B. Eligibility

Willo is intended for all enrolled UCSD students[LJ2] with an active UCSD AD account

C. Activation and Login

Willo uses your Active Directory login username and password. Please DO NOT SHARE your password with anyone. The individual username and password you choose are the keys to protecting the confidentiality of your information. You are responsible for remembering your username and password and for keeping them confidential.

You MUST provide us with your email address when activating your account and keep your email address current in our system. You may receive supportive service and other reminders and alerts. You therefore MUST verify and update your email address to ensure that you receive notification of newly released information in a timely manner.

D. License Grant

You acknowledge and agree that Willo is provided under license, and not sold, to you. UCSD grants you a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to download, install, and use Willo for your personal, non-commercial use. You do not acquire any ownership interest in Willo under these Terms, or any other rights thereto other than to use Willo in accordance with the license granted, and subject to these Terms. UCSD reserves and shall retain its entire right, title, and interest in and to Willo, including all copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights therein or relating thereto, except as expressly granted to you in these terms. Except as may be expressly permitted by applicable law or expressly authorized by Willo, you shall not copy, modify, translate, adapt, or otherwise create derivative works or improvements of, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive or gain access to the source code of, use any automatic device, process, or means to access for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any of the material of, Willo or any part thereof.

E. Collection and Use of Your Information

You acknowledge that when you download, install, or use Willo, UCSD may use automatic means like app analytics to collect information about your device and about your use of Willo. You also may be required to provide certain information about yourself as a condition to downloading, installing, or using Willo or certain of its features or functionality. All information collected through or in connection with Willo is subject to our Privacy Policy. By downloading, installing, using, and providing information to or through Willo, you consent to all actions taken by us with respect to your information in compliance with the Privacy Policy.

F. Children’s Personal Information

Willo is not directed to, and we do not intend to, or knowingly, collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If an individual is under the age of 13, they should not use Willo or otherwise provide us with any personal information either directly or by other means. If a child under the age of 13 has provided personal information to us, we encourage the child’s parent or guardian to contact us to request that we remove the personal information from our systems. If we learn that any personal information we collect has been provided by a child under the age of 13, we will promptly delete that personal information.[LJ3]

G. Termination

UCSD may restrict or terminate your access to Willo at any time without notice or liability. If your use of Willo violates the Terms, we reserve the right to permanently terminate your access to Willo.

The Terms take effect when you accept the Terms and will continue in effect until terminated by you or UCSD. You may terminate the Terms by deleting Willo from your device. UCSD may terminate the terms at any time without notice. The Terms will terminate immediately and automatically without any notice if you violate any of the Terms. On termination of the Terms, you must cease all use of Willo and delete it from your device. Termination will not limit any of UCSD’s rights or remedies at law or in equity.

H. Accuracy and Integrity of Information

Willo is provided to you “as is” and with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Information contained on the app may be changed or updated without notice.

I. Third-Party Materials

Willo may display, include, or make available third-party content (including data, information, applications, and other products, services, and/or materials) or provide links to third-party websites or services (“Third-Party Materials”). You acknowledge and agree that UCSD is not responsible for Third-Party Materials, including their accuracy, completeness, timeliness, validity, copyright compliance, legality, decency, quality, or any other aspect thereof. UCSD does not assume and will not have any liability or responsibility to you or any other person or entity for any Third-Party Materials. Third-Party Materials and links thereto are provided solely as a convenience to you, and you access and use them entirely at your own risk and subject to such third parties’ terms and conditions.

J. Severability

If any provision of the Terms is found by a proper authority to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be severed and the remainder of the Terms will continue in full force and effect.

K. Governing Law

The Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of California without reference to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes under the Terms may be brought in the state courts and Federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and the Parties hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of these courts.

L. Entire Agreement

The Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and UCSD with respect to Willo and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings and agreements, whether written or oral, with respect to Willo.
